Experience
-Specialist in secondary math and science teaching (junior high school and high school); grades 6-12 and undergraduates welcome, I do not normally take students below grade 5. -I am one of the most experienced tutors in central Indiana. I have 15 years of documented tutoring experience with literally hundreds of students. In some cases I taught the same student for more than 5 years. -I have taught students from more than 20 countries and tutored almost every subject taught in high school except for foreign language. -I have particular strengths in grade 6-10 math and all high school science subjects especially biology and chemistry. -Undergraduate biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and calculus also taught. -Also helpful with humanities subjects (business, history, psychology, etc.) with special skill in business studies including at IB level. -I have been published more than 80 times as a freelance writer; very helpful with writing assignments and methods. -I have a classroom teaching background and have taught innumerable math, science, and business courses. -Test prep: SAT (20 years of experience); SSAT; GRE; GMAT; ACT. -I have done advising for university entrance and application prep on an individual basis, and very successfully! -Test scores: SAT 760V 740M (taken in 1980s before the introduction of the writing section); GRE 750V 770Q 720A; GMAT 43Q 47V AWA 6 overall 730/97%.
