Experience
I was a licensed secondary teacher with 5 years of education experience. I spent one year teaching in an alternative high school, remediating students and preparing them for the English portion of the ISTEP exam as well as their GQE. My other years in the classroom were spent teaching Spanish II-IV, Latin I-IV and Etymology. While my focus became foreign language, I was also licensed to teach secondary English. While I am no longer in the field of education, I miss teaching every day! I would love to find students to tutor because teaching and helping students grow, learn and prosper will always be my passion.

Hobbies
My favorite way to spend time is with my husband and our son! We also have two cats and a very playful golden retriever. Our house is never boring! I also LOVE to read, write, and run. I try to participate in two half marathons every year! We have an amazing group of friends and are also very lucky to live close to our families and spend a lot of time with them.
