Experience
I attended both Georgetown University and Loyola University at New Orleans College of Law. I earned my bachelor's of science degree in International Relations with a focus on International Politics, and also earned my JD at law school. I have more than five years of experience in tutoring students of all ages, from elementary through college, in a wide array of subjects. My favorite subjects to tutor involve language arts and the social sciences. This goes along with my belief that having a true understanding of social issues and communication is essential to continuing to grow and develop as a society. I do tutor many other classes, such as math, critical reading, and others, including many AP level classes. I also have had success assisting students as they prepare for standardized tests, such as the SAT, TOEFL, PSAT, and others. When I work with a student, I initially discover their motivations and strengths, which leads me to the best way to interest the student in the subject at hand. When a student can identify with the content, especially with examples from their interests, they find the subject more interesting, and are more eager to study. In my spare time, I enjoy watching football and reading.
