I love learning and having the opportunity to help others on their academic path. I truly believe that each of us should constantly be striving towards our own betterment and a deeper understanding of the world around us. It is with this belief that I have always approached my own education and the point of view I bring to each tutoring session. I believe it is my responsibility as a tutor to not only help the students who are struggling with specific concepts but to also help inspire an authentic curiosity about the world around them. To do this I take the time to get to know my students and their unique learning styles in order to create the most engaging and effective lessons possible. I currently tutor a wide variety of subjects, including algebra 1 & 2, AP music theory, elementary school writing, geometry, adult literacy, elementary math, middle school math, trigonometry, biology, chemistry, science, English, reading, social studies, writing, art, essay editing, literature, music theory, English grammar and syntax, music, art history, American history, AP English language and composition, European history, AP English literature and composition, comparative literature, earth science, geography, IB music HL & SL, IB theatre HL & SL, physical science, pre-algebra, public speaking, and world religions. I also enjoy helping students who are preparing for exams such as the ISEE or SAT.
