20 years of Industry experience including at Eli Lilly & Dow AgroSciences. I am a licensed teacher in Indiana with Chemistry certification (Grades 5-12) but I am not currently teaching. I have worked as a tutor from 2012-present helping students in chemistry classes from high school chemistry, AP, IB, and Honors chemistry up to College General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Because of my subject matter expertise, my experience in industry, and my teaching experience, I offer students a background few tutors can provide. I truly KNOW the material, I can EXPLAIN how concepts studied in class are used in "real world" applications, and I UNDERSTAND how to convey information to students. My greatest satisfaction comes from helping a student who has been struggling and watching them grow as they gain a better understanding of the subject.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading history, historical fiction, and general fiction. I have become a big fan of audiobooks and have found that they make my daily commute go more smoothly. I love animals and own two collies that I train & show in the breed ring, obedience, and herding. I serve on the board of the Indiana Collie Club. I used to serve on the board of the Collie Rescue Foundation. I am a huge baseball fan and follow the Baltimore Orioles team from a distance. I met my husband online in an Orioles message forum (pre-internet days).
