Experience
Experience: I have tutored statistics courses at Purdue for the past several years. I have also taught introductory statistics for several semesters. In addition to statistics, my undergrad degree was in math and I feel comfortable tutoring any of the standard math subject areas. Test scores: I scored in the 95th and 90th percentiles for SAT and GRE mathematics sections, respectively. I scored a 5 on AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics. I received A’s in all of my calculus and statistics courses in undergrad. As a current graduate student in statistics, I enjoy working one-on-one with students to help them both succeed and see the value in what they study. I know firsthand that math and statistics may seem difficult first, but with a little practice can be quite maneagable.
