I am a published writer with over four years of tutoring and professional test prep/writing experience. I have tutored students ranging from 3rd grade to adults over the past four years, both as an employee of the nationally recognized tutoring company Wyzant and as an independent contractor. I have tutored students for periods as long as six months, often focusing on reading comp./vocab/essays/grammar preparation for the SATs/ACTs/ISTEP/PSATs. I especially pride myself on my grammar skills, and actively love to write creative fiction and nonfiction; I'd like to think this passion spreads to my students, too! I like to employ in-session essay writing and interactive lessons whenever possible, to keep my lessons as engaging as possible.
