I break down academic material for students so that they understand the concepts and develop the required skills. I have experience with (and a desire to help) students with special needs, including those with mental illness. I have taken classes in several disciplines and have applied this learning to my teaching. I am honest, dependable, resourceful, creative, hard-working, and attentive to detail. I have successfully mentored three student teachers, all of whom are currently teaching in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. I am currently mentoring a fourth student teacher.
