Some tutoring in biology I continue to enjoy helping students learn I have taught Biology 31 years in public school then trained teachers in an MAT program at the Univ. of Indianapolis for 10 years. I have won the presidential award for science teaching(1986) and the OBTA award (1989) for Biology teaching in Indiana.I earned my Ed. D. in 1996. My specialty is Human Genetics. I work in response to student needs and interests and not from a pre-planned agenda. I consider learning styles and special learning needs in my preparation for students.
