Education
I am a recent graduate of Penn High School in Mishawaka, IN. I graduated with an Academic Honors diploma and with High Honors with a 3.9 GPA. I am a direct-admit to the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI where I will be starting honors classes this fall. I am a triple major in Finance, Accounting and Management.
Experience
I was a Kingsmen Tutor Leader of the tutoring program at Penn. I trained tutors on proper conduct in a classroom as well as how to handle one-on-one sessions. I was a tutor myself for two years, with experience both in-class and one-on-one in German 1 and Algebra 2. I want to be a tutor in order to be a part of helping other young students excel. I know what it was like to be trapped in a difficult class without someone there to help me through the course. My goal is to help students learn their material, gain confidence in their knowledge, and help them utilize their knowledge on assessments and in discussion. I graduated high school with 23 credit-hours in dual credit coursework with IU including: English, Literature, Political Science, US History, and Calculus. Additionally I intend to receive college credit for my AP Micro/Macroeconomics course in which I finished with a 98% overall score and a 100% score on both of my final exams. While I have not yet received my AP scores, these points indicate that I will likely receive 5's. Additionally I was selected from the top business students at Penn High School to receive a paid internship with Crowe Horwath, a top 10 national public accounting firm. This internship was for the duration of my senior year.

Hobbies
I am very much a Notre Dame Fighting Irish football fan! I thoroughly enjoy swimming/boating/canoeing/kayaking and anything else that involves being out in the sun and the water! I also play football and dodgeball in recreational leagues, with my freshman year placing 3rd in a national dodgeball tournament in Illinois! I grew up in South Bend, where I have been actively involved in my church for my entire life. I set up the sound equipment for the worship team on Sunday mornings until I moved in with other family in Indianapolis following graduation. I also was a volunteer life coach and leadership camp counselor for middle school students through Five Star Life.
