Experience
I spent 2 years after college as a Food Scientist, but realized I was looking for more feedback and meaning than what being a scientist could offer me. Then, I was hired as an assistant teacher with a local private school and worked there for a few years. While I was teaching there, I completed several education classes at IUPUI and also began tutoring. I quickly realized that working one on one with struggling students was exactly what I was looking for. My tutoring career blossomed from there. I currently have 15+ years experience tutoring Math of all levels. I have extensive experience working with learning disabled students, including ASD, ADD, ADHD. I especially enjoy working with girls who have confidence problems in math. Recently, I re-entered the classroom and began teaching a single algebra class at a local school.

I love to read and spend time with my family. I am also active at our church. I also make jewelry and complete sewing projects for fun. I also love decorating my home and planning vacations for my family. During the day, I tutor at a private school in Indianapolis and teach an Algebra 1 class.
