I am currently completing courses at The Excel Center and hold a 3.5 GPA. Upon graduating from The Excel Center I will have a pharmacy technician certification and be working toward a CDA (Child Development Associate). I plan to go to college in the near future and hold an interest in pursuing a degree in child psychology.
Experience
I have 6+ years of experience in child care. I am committed to each child's physical, mental, and emotional development. I have experience providing tutoring services to students pre-school aged to 7th grade. My primary subjects are English (reading comprehension, writing) and math. Although I have only tutored up to 7th grade, I have exceled in English and am more than capable of providing reading and writing services to high school students. I want to be a tutor because I truly enjoy having the opportunity to be a part of a child's growth.

Hobbies
One of my major interests is writing. I grew to love writing at a young age and it's become a deeply loved passion of mine. My favorite subject has always been English. Over the years my teachers have described my writing assignments as "inspiring" and "impressive". Besides writing papers for school, short stories, and journaling I'm also a poet. Poetry for me isn't just a hobby it's so much more. My poetry hasn't only helped me throughout my life it has had a major impact on others. Some of my other interests are reading, finding productive activities that will help me grow as a person, helping those in need, working with children, and walking.
