The joy of helping others is why I like being a tutor. Sometimes it’s about getting a subject or topic to “click”, other times, tutoring is a collaborative effort where we learn from each other. I simply enjoy helping and giving back as much as I can. EXPERIENCE: Working in my University’s Writing Center, I assisted college students with all types of writing including term papers, love notes, mathematical proofs and dissertations. As such I can assist in all phases of the writing process with a focus towards structure, organization, diction and grammar. Additionally, at college, I served as a Scholarship Chair whereby I designed a tutoring program for a Fraternity. Based on individual attention and incentives, the Fraternity won an award for “Most Improved GPA”. As part of the America Reads program, I assisted 1st and 2nd grade students with reading skills. HISTORY My specialty is Classical history, including Rome, Greece and Egypt. Other areas include Medieval Europe, Colonial American History and Western Civilization. ART Skilled in Figure Drawing, Colored Pencils and Oil mediums, my main focus is 3D modeling and Animation. I can assist with Adobe and Autodesk programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, 3ds Max, Maya and Mudbox. In addition to 3D art, I can assist with all aspects of the game design process including conception, storyboarding, lighting and staging.
