Experience

I am 28 years old and have taught at Greenfield Central, Center Grove and now currently Fishers High School for a combined total of 10 years. I have been the dance coach at each school that I was employed with as well as teaching dance classes and substitute teaching math, history, and science at the high school level throughout the school day. I founded an elementary school dance team, so my passion for helping/tutoring one-on-one really lies with younger students.

Hobbies

I am a dance coach and it seems to have consumed my life since I was 8. However, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. My passion started with history, but later grew into mathematics because I saw how many students were struggling with the subject. I firmly believe that students dislike a course because they are not being taught correctly, or in a manner that relates to them and makes the subject understandable and enjoyable. Like dance, we all start off as a blank canvas; it is up to us to provide children with a sense of confidence in their education. I'd love to get to know your student and be a part of their academic future!
