Education
Senior Anthropology major at IUPUI with focuses on biological anthropology and archaeology, with a minor in International Studies
Experience
SAT Score: 1970 Critical Reading: 620 Math: 640 Writing: 710 I really enjoy teaching students and helping people where I can. I plan to eventually become an anthropology professor, and I think that one-on-one teaching/tutoring that is tailored to individual students' needs is incredibly important and necessary. I've taken coursework in all of the subjects I have listed I can tutor in, and most subject areas I've taken multiple classes in. I have been on the Dean's list nearly every semester I've been in college. I currently have a 3.7 GPA, with a 4.0 in anthropology. Last April I was offered a fellowship with the National Science Foundation to take place in their Research Experience for Undergraduates program. I completed an archaeological field school over the summer, and recently presented a research poster at the Midwest Archaeological Conference.

Hobbies
I am very passionate about human and animal rights. Due to the nature of my anthropology classes, I've come to be very familiar with a lot of the issues facing our society, and Indianapolis in general, from homelessness to poverty. I volunteer at IUPUI's food pantry and have volunteered at the Humane Society and Girls Rock! Indianapolis. I am currently the president of the IUPUI Anthropology Club. I'm a very open-minded and accepting person, and I truly enjoy learning about the experiences of people from all walks of life
