I have studied several semesters abroad and understand the frustration of being in a country where the language does not come easy. I am a sophomore English teacher here in Indianapolis. I have successfully prepared my students to take important standardized tests but also ACT/SAT. I am skilled at working with students of various backgrounds, whether that is a learning disability, here from a different country, ADD, ADHD, etc. I believe each student/person is different and learns in a way which is specific to them. There is no wrong or right way to learn. It is simply my job to figure out which way works best for a given student.
